This 14,000 square foot, single story community center was designed for the Department of Recreation and Parks of the City of Los Angeles. The $2,400,000 center is located in Petit Park in Granada Hills and houses a clubroom for meetings and classes, an administrative office, and a kitchen. Recreational components include exercise/weight rooms and a full-size gymnasium with retractable bleachers. 124 additional on-grade parking spaces have been added to the existing parking.

This project includes a new 10,000 square foot community center and the development of adjacent parkland into a botanical garden/nature walk, with additional public restrooms. There will also be a separate nature center and wedding pavilion.
The community center includes an exercise room, a multi-purpose room and kitchen, along with service and office spaces.
The garden development will include a nature walk, open lawn areas, and a two-level pond. Landscaping will reflect the natural flora of the site and surrounding area.

This project provides the complete interior and exterior renovation of the existing 200,000 square foot headquarters of Goodwill Industries of Southern California.

In addition to a master plan, parking study, building standards for future interior renovations, and a complete disabled access / fire and life safety / seismic safety analysis and upgrade, the project includes renovations for many of the operating units located

within the facility. They include ATEC/Welfare to Work, cafeteria and kitchen, lobby and entrance, auditorium, training and conference center, One-Stop career center, and industrial services.

The 4,600 square foot childcare center is located in Van Ness Park. It is designed to accommodate up to 60 children aged 5 to 12 years old with a future expansion for 30 additional children.

The center was designed for after school care with full day care available during the summer months. The project features a full commercial quality kitchen, 2 classrooms, 3 offices and support facilities.

A 4,500 square foot play area is located outside the center and an additional 13 parking spaces were added to the existing parking spaces in Van Ness Park

This project is the expansion and renovation of the existing Martin Luther King, Jr., Therapeutic and Recreational Center, in Martin Luther King, Jr., Park. It is one of three special recreational centers in Los Angeles to provide services for disabled persons.

The first floor of the expansion includes the addition of new administrative and support facilities, as well as a new classroom.

On the second floor, there is a multi-purpose room and toilets. An elevator was provided to provide disabled access throughout the facility.
